What is a Homeschool Co-op?
We are a group of homeschool families who meet together weekly. The co-op offers social interaction and education opportunities that supplement the education your child already receives at home. We do not teach core subjects. All of our classes are extra-curricular and are designed around the interests of our students and the expertise of the parents teaching them.
When and where does GCHC meet?
We meet every Wednesday, except the last Wednesday of each month. We also take the entire month of December off to provide extra time for families to do what families do during the holidays. Our semesters run from September-January and February-May. We meet at Crossroads Church in Pauls Valley, OK.

How much does GCHC cost?
$25 per child per semester. This money goes to provide the supplies that may be needed for your student's classes. Cost is intentionally kept low. We do not issue refunds or prorate amounts based on attendance. Payment may be made via cash, check, or Venmo.
What is the attendance policy?
You come when you can, but like anything, you will get more out of it with regular attendance. This is not a drop-off program, so parents are required to stay on campus with their student(s) while co-op is in session. We follow the Pauls Valley Public School System's lead on weather related cancelations. If you or your student is sick, running a fever, or has had prolonged close exposure (within 6 feet for longer than 10 minutes) to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you please help keep everyone safe and stay home.
What do I need to bring each week?
A snack for each child and a water bottle. We ask that no other drinks are allowed because we are borrowing a building and we don’t want to accidentally leave any stains. We do have a refrigerator, a microwave and a Keurig on site and available for your use.
What classes are available?
Classes vary per semester. Each student can choose 3 classes from the available options and we try to honor their choices as best we can within the limited space that we have available. Classes will range in variety from Art to Electrical Engineering. Our parents are our teachers. Once accepted into GCHC, please inform the director if you have a class that you would like to teach.
How do we sign up?
We are a referral-based group. If you didn’t hear about us from a friend, fill out the Contact form so that we can get to know you and see how you can fit with GCHC. Space is limited and we do usually have a waiting list. Available spots are filled on a first come first serve basis.
